to be honest these faster paced more aggressive wobblers totally make any dance go fookin off it bigstyle, even if they aren't that nice to listen to as individual tracks. In a way its dancefloor fodder, but thats the side of dubstep that got me into producing so who currrrs

Both tracks are quality.
I don't think there's anything to complain about here

this...
Coki is easily one of the sickest producers,
and just the fact that he can make two completely different styles of tracks and they'll both be sick, should be enough for you not to complain.

i dont see the hype with square off. its not that good at all to me. i do agree with the spongebob 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.... cooment though. this to me has that same muddy sound with the same snare sound as road rage, which isnt that great either. :0
with that said, i do enjoy a lot of coki's tunes though.

I love all of Coki's material, in my opinion he's not just one of the most bizarre sounding producers in dubstep but in music altogether.
I like abrasive sounds and I like beautiful sounds and moody sounds and uplifting sounds, and on and on... Square Off is loud and sometimes I wanna hear that. Officer's proper moody, and same again, sometimes I wanna be listening to that. The vibe of the tune's got nothing to do with the quality imo, you get awful wobblers and epic wobblers, same with all music.

Maybe it's just that we all know that Coki can come up with another banging but original sound?..
WIth me its just all depends on where i am and how im feeling...if its 4 am and i'm in the car home i dont think i'm going to go for Square Off...
now Delight by Distance...ahhhh perfect

square off isn't all that, it just sounds like another spongebob tune, same with goblin and whatever else is floating about with that bass noise.
i prefer his tunes like soundboy and bass/unknown, which are actually musically brilliant, not just a beat with some grinding noise over the top.

What happened?
Fix up.
I think its pretty obvious what happened. Look at his progression in stages:
Code: Select all
2005 - Officer / Mood Dub (DMZ004)
2006 - Tortured / Shattered (Tempa024)
2007 - All Of A Sudden (MEDI03)
Code: Select all
2007 - Red Eye / Bleep / The Sign / Hidden Treasure (BAM009)
2007 - Spongebob / The End (DMZ013)
Code: Select all
2008 - Triple Six / Road Rage (DMZ014)
2009 - Square Off / Warlord Riddim (DDEMON001)
Do you not like Warlord Riddim?

It's not just coki its the same with all artists. Unless you have a shrine and are the most dedicated fan ever, there's always gunna be some tracks put out you don't like by an artist you do like, doesn't mean that they are turning to shit.
Everyone likes different styles and if the artist you love isn't putting out the type of shit he used to then keep listening to the old shit or do some searchin and find similar artists.
