Ben and Widmore have a past, whatever that is, and want to knock ten bells out of each other but cant because of the 'rules' they speak about.
People reckon this is similar to how Gods in Greek mythology cant kill each other, but can get mortals or some other creature to do it.

Ive thought for awhile that Aaron is Jacob here's why.


Kate left him to go back to the island. Then when aaron gets older he trys to find the island, to find his mom. He ends up finding it and gets transported back to ancient times where he becomes god-like and becomes the ruler of the island. He then starts intervening in the losties lives to make sure they get to the island and fullfill their destinies.

Thats why aarons family is so important, Christian(grandpa) & Claire(mom) are living in the mystical cabin giving orders to locke. Jack(uncle) is the main character.

He also was the only person we know of to be born on the island

They both have blond hair.

Anyway, at the centre of the 8 trigram is the yin/yang symbol (seemingly opposing forces that are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, giving rise to each other in turn). Those two guys sitting on the beach in the picture above represent yin and yang, one wears white, one black.

Read a bit of stuff talking about this, your right they are similar but not the ying and yang i dont think, but this maybe more explains.

Richard tells locke in season 5 he never ages because of Jacob. So I bet in season 6 it will all be explianed

i was highly disappointed by the actor they chose for jacob...
could have done much better methinks

I used to watch it but since season 4 it has been deadout.
