i was thinking about that... but what if there are tube delays? and what if there are many people standing in front of the shop? the record will likely sell out within a few minutes online.

If Mere Shere broke the internet, I hate to think the chaos that this will cause come Wednesday
I can see the headlines now... 'Midnight causes the world to end'

i think the fact that this is a idle hands/honest jon exclusive (as opposed to say hardwax) at least demonstrates some respect for the uk crowd/scene.. beyond that berceuse heroique have always been a boutique label so there should be no surprises about the limited run and narrow distribution...
I think it shows their a bunch of elitist tossers. it's not even like these tunes are any good. I mean do you not think there is a reason they've been unreleased for so long. It's coz they aint no good mate.

fuck idle hands not selling them online.
this cuts the chances of anyone not living in the uk.
fuck these guys. to hell with them.
i've no problem with limited releases or any of that nonsense.
hell, i've been okay paying as much on shipping to the states as i did for the actual record when ordering from these guys.
not giving them a single dime in the future.

bullshit answer.
i get that it was loe/BH's decision to press 300, that's fine and dandy.
the problem is that 1 of the 2 outlets now decided that it's not even going to give the chance to possibly buy one unless you're physically there.
hope they're fucking happy once they hit $500 on discogs and hear a 128kbps rip of it playing out of an ipod at some student bar.

Not really a bullshit answer, if they have 40 copies why go to the effort of listing it online.. the ballache of your site crashing all the time and people who pay money to travel to the shop and wait outside in the cold get turned away cause of online sales? At least they've been very clear what they're doing and that they only have a few.
Its gunna sell out so quick instore or online I'd never go to the bother of having to ship out some records I can sell instore. Of all the things to moan about I don't think Idle Hands is one.
If I was BH/Loefah I'd ask Idle Hands to sell online as well as in store; same with Honest Jons. Then instead of 300 I'd press 5,000 and watch the P roll in when everybody goes on a mad one buying two to sell (at least) one on discogs.
