You can speak to him if and use the commands get DOG back in his cage.

Also, make sure you exhaust all of the conversation possibilities of talking to all three of them at the fountain. There are a few skill/SPECIAL tests that are some easy XP if you pass them all.

Plus talking to Christine gives you some more background about Old World Blues, and also Veronica at the 188 Trading Post back in the main game.

What do the other two people do? I had the option of taking the ghoul guy as my helper but turned him down coz I want the ogre to gobble up all of the baddies

Raul Tejada the Goul can repair your items. His dialogue with the player is pretty good also and is voiced by Danny Trejo.

Yeah. You just have to let dismiss your follower through dialogue, then find the other one and talk to them to bring them on as a companion.

Wrong ghoul...Raul is from the main game. In the casino, it's Dean Domino. His special ability is to that you can last for a short amount of time inside the cloud before it starts affecting you.

For Christine (mute girl), her special ability is that she blocks the signal from radios for a short amount of time before your collar starts beeping

In the main game;

Boone - spotter ability (enemies glow red when aiming)
Ed-E - Makes your Perception 10
Raul - repairs items
Veronica - crafts items (workbench no matter where you are)
Rex - can find items for you
Arcade - +20% on your healing items
Rose - consuming alcohol has no negative effects and you can't get addicted
Lily - Stealth boys last twice as long


This is why Boone and Ed-E together are so shit hot...you've got the 10 Perception and have enemies highlighted red for targetting purposes.

I'll find those two if I ever get out of this cloud place, I can see myself being stuck there for a while, it's gonna be hard to stay alive and my survival skill is 10 or something so food doesn't do too much

This is so fucked, I'm in the vault, got the gold but when I talk to the chap on the computer it freezes half way through, every time... I got out of the vault once but I died

It is possible to get out of the level without having to fight Elijah/get merked by the sentry guns. As soon as he says "I'm coming down" run as fast as you can back through the level the way you came and get to the elevator.

I can't get out of the conversation after activating the terminal inside the vault
