The 5 Years of Hyperdub comp came out in 2009 - five years a go next year. If there was going to be a second 5 year comp, what tracks (2009-to-present) do you think would absolutely have to be on there?

For now I would say:
Mark Pritchard - Wind it Up

Terror Danjah - Proplus
Burial - Street Halo
DOK - West Coast (VIP)
King Midas Sound - Earth a Kill You (Mala remix)
Kode 9 & Spaceape - Otherman

Cooly G - It's Serious
Kode9 - Xingfu Lu
Ikonika - Cryo
Laurel Halo - Quarantine
Burial - Kindred

Kyle Hall - Kaychunk

They could definitely do another comp, for sure

Surely I'm reading this wrong. This can't be saying that Kode9 is Burial... right?: "It’s a history of dubstep with special guest Kode 9 aka Steve Goodman alias Burial and his Hyperdub label have been moulding the sound of the underground for years now, pulling in plaudits and end-of-year polls from every which way."

some of the samples are overused as fuck. worse than the ones on the IDGAF 12". I can't get rid of the feeling that he used the same synth with the same presets for 12 of the 14 tracks. I'm a bit surprised this gains that much attention and stuff like Distal's "Shadow Egg EP" went by more or less unnoticed. possibly because it isn't "130/140/170".
