theres good reason to be suspicious of the Chinese - they have had more athletes caught and banned for doping/drug taking than any other nation over the past few world championships/olympic events.

And so what if her team mate was busted. Does that mean Michael Johnson must've been doping an Sidney because Marion Jones was doing it too? Ridiculous.
Whether she was doping or not, you HAVE to go with innocent until proven guilty, if you don't where does that leave us? Imagine what it must be like for her if she's clean. She's done something amazing, it should be the happiest time in her life, but the entire world is casting doubt on her. It's disgusting.
Once again I say this;
No disrespect to the Chinese girl but seriously, prove you don't have a dick like they forced poor old
Caster Semenya to do when she
won gold.
It's wrong on all levels.

That's ridiculous, just because others have done it you can't use that to paint the rest with the same brush.
America have had their fair share of dopers, as have Britain, it doesn't for a second mean that they are all on steroids does it?

It was an abomination what they did to Caster Semenya, it would be an abomination if they ever did it to anyone else in the same way. Your point is unfounded, vulgar and stupid.

She looks pretty girl-like to me. She's 16, I doubt she's quite hit the peak of her womanhood yet (if people were turning her into a pinup it'd be pretty odd at that age too)... but it's interesting that the same things don't get levelled at the girl gymnasts who are often small, boyish and hipless; of course they all wear makeup so nobody suggests they might be boys. Has Ye failed to be pretty enough to qualify for recognition? Should all women be put through a strict glamour makeover before they're allowed to be on telly?
Or should we let a
16 year old jump in a pool and swim faster than living fuck without feeling the need to put makeup on or immediately do an FHM shoot? Maybe we should let her do her own thing and just respect the shit out of her talent?
Semenya was ridiculously unlucky, the behaviour around the world was (and probably still is) disgusting - I'd put her in the same category. Just because the world did it to your girl, doesn't mean it's ok to do it to others. If they've tested clean, they're clean. They won at life. Everyone else lost.

Agreed.
And I personally believe she looks like a girl.
I think the world is forcing their views of beauty onto the sporting world.

If you watch Ye Shiwen, she has insanely good technique, and that kind of makes me discredit the doping rumors at this point.
I think she's just a freak of nature.

She shaved 7 seconds off.her time in one year... and this is after speed suit.ban
Most swimmers willl shave 7 seconds from the time they are 16 to 26
She swam faster than lochte and Phelps

Lance Armstrong was regarded as the best cyclist and cancer-recoveree in the entire world last time I checked... and I pretty much only hear European opinions, since I, like, live here.
Nice to see we've got an expert on competitive swimming in our ranks though. How come you haven't talked about it for the last 4 years?

You should probably check again bro
He was just brought up on charges for doping because of a 10+ year witch hunt a lot of European countries have been on
Fair game tho he did something unimaginable and I find it hard to believe he didn't dope considering the state of worldwide sports

Yeah but the difference there is this is based on evidence. I'm not saying he did it, that's not for me (or you) to decide. But at least there is some basis in the charge. This current situation with the swimmer is based on nothing but a single coach throwing his toys out of the pram. The 2 situations are incomparable.
Also, wasn't it the USA anti doping agency that charged Armstrong? What has that got to do with Europe?

Well, it's obviously not getting as much coverage as his domination of the Tour de France did. Lance Armstrong's place is pretty undeniable.
But yeah, this is what's known as a "separate case". He's also a grown man that seems to be able to take anything life throws at him in his stride. Just because people have been unfair to one of your countrymen, it really doesn't make it ok for you to hop online and join the mob bullying a
16 year old girl that you'd almost certainly never heard of a week ago but whose career you are now an 'expert' on.
