Fucked up and all true.
Unit 731 was a secret branch of the Japanese military that was formed in late 1930’s and the unit was disbanded in 1945 at the end of the World War 2. Thousand’s civilians and POW’s would die because of Unit 731 experiments. Experiments conducted by Unit 731 include exposure to extreme temperatures, vivisection, germ warfare and testing weapon like Flame throwers and grenades on live human subjects. Those in charge of Unit 731 tried to cover their tracks by destroying any evidence that would incriminate them. Only a handful of those involved in the atrocities of unit 731 would be punished for their crimes while others would go on to have career in politics and the medical field. Philosophy of the Knife is loosely based on the events involving Japan’s unit 731 notorious chemical and biological experiments of human beings.

Unit 731 is absolutely foul. Did a fair bit of reading on it a few years ago. Thoroughly unpleasant.
Have you seen
Men Behind the Sun?

Watched that a couple of years ago, after watching that I sort of knew what to expect. Horrific.

Might watch this tonight if I am not too knackerd.
An excellent comedy with terrific horror elements, this was a crowd- pleaser tonight at DIFF, here in Dallas. This is what writing is all about, old-school, when writing actually mattered, over special effects. And there are plenty of those. It is rare that I actually praise an American film, only because we no longer care about writing. It's all about star power without chemistry or talent behind the scenes, just what might make a buck. And, clearly, even clear results do not stop "the machine" from producing utter crud. Relativity Media has bought this gem, but apparently has refused to market it ala Bounty Hunter. This is such a funny film that fits into Bromance, Comedy, Horror, maybe even Indie. Did I mention there's chemistry? Talent? Yup. All there. So, get on it, Relativity! This could be incredibly profitable. Wish my blog had more power to get the word out there. Hope this does the trick.

ayoooo can anybody give me some movie recommendations like dead zone, videodrome, misery those types of films. prefer 80s or 90s. not too quick on the latest films so mind watching the older ones.

The guy Marky mark played is based on someone from Lowell (city I live in now). Still haven't watched it, but it sounds dope.
Watched this a few days ago. Definitely the most interesting documentary I've seen. Its about fractal geometry, examples of which can be found in nature (shorelines, trees, vegetables), and are patterns generated from chaos.. coincidentally also the type of patterns you see when tripping. Does anyone know of other movies or books about this stuff?

that looks REALLY interesting. thanks, gonna watch it tonight
reminds me of Aronofsky's pi
"One: Mathematics
is the language of nature.
Two: Everything around us
can be represented and
understood through numbers.
Three: If you graph the numbers
of any system, patterns emerge.
Therefore, there are patterns
everywhere in nature."
