What's wrong with clipping? I generally don't mix for it, but sometimes I do and I quite like the way things sound when I do it. Probably best kept out of dancefloor tracks tbf though.dickman69 wrote:i dont get tunes that sound like theyre clipping

Like it's actually painful to listen to? That might be more to do with high end than clipping in general.
