honestly you should probably just stick to cdjs if you pussyfoot around with vinyl that much

its not that hard

step 1: press play, put the needle down, put your finger on the label and spin the bitch forward until it gets to the downbeat
step 2: move it back until you find the spot where the downbeat is
step 3: when the track youre mixing into hits beat 1, release the record with a bit of momentum

im assuming you have slipmats right? theres a reason why they exist...

yes there are slipmats. no need to be such a tnuc about it. article i read (which i posted on here) made it seem like they're very easy to ruin.

If you are comfortable with CDJ's, learning to mix with vinyl should be fairly easy for you.

It sounds like you've mentally got it in your head that mixing vinyl is much harder and different. Just practice with it a bit and you'll soon get a feel on how to manipulate the wax/platter to get a beat match. It just has a slightly different muscle memory that you've got to get down.
