Back in 1998, Hitoshi Takahashi had a little chat with his wife. He told her that he'd like to try and build a rideable vehicle that resembled the Japanese rhinoceros beetle, or Kabutomushi. Not knowing quite what she was signing on for, his wife agreed, stating: "Oh, that sound interesting, so make it. You could probably ride it to take out the trash."
Eleven years and three builds later, Takahashi finally completed the Kabutom RX-03 in 2009. Capable of carrying six adult passengers, the RX-03 is quite the sight to behold — and definitely beyond garbage duty. Powered by a diesel engine, the tank 'walks' on six actuated legs and can raise and lower its massive head, all the while breathing smoke and pumping its theme music across the landscape.

This article basically sums up my thought when I read about media pressure on body image.
AUSTIN—According to a groundbreaking report released this week by researchers at the University of Texas, tens of millions of citizens across the United States are bravely resisting the relentless pressure from the media to be thin and active.
The 80-page report confirmed that Americans are inundated with images of slender individuals in commercials, films, television shows, print advertisements, billboards, internet ads, and product packaging every day, yet noted that as many as 190 million citizens are “courageously refusing to conform” to these media ideals of physical fitness and leanness and are instead embracing the bodies they have.
