Completely agree with DJoe. It's been on my "to do" list for about a year: find more hosts. We've enjoyed having Koast at Keysound Sessions and are looking forward to having him with us at Fabric next week. Hosting, vocals, jokes, banter are a massive part of all this. It's the connection between the DJs and the crowd.

can you get crazy D, i rate that vocal tune he did with distance where he was like "I forgot the song lyrics...i rest my schlong on your lips"
also ordered that beneath plate
blackdown you need to release those mad beneath dubs that appeared on the show last june/may ish!

Looking forward to Koast, think I read Grievous Angel saying he was on point at Keysound Sessions.

the emphasis on instrumentals has encouraged people to get a bit more 'musical' with grime, but i still get bored by an all instrumentals mix without mcs
The Mumdance & Novelist(Wouldn't look out of place if he was around during the 'golden' era of grime) stuff is the perfect blend.
Really need more of this stuff.

i dont really think that tunes novelists best stuff really.
is it just me or is he a bit overhyped (maybe not overhyped but he gets a lot of praise. not saying hes not good).
seems to copy the flows of all the big old skool grime mcs but doesnt really have his own unique one yet. i guess hes still very young so he will improve a lot.
dont really rate it when he does that flirta d thing either

Might just be my personal taste but out all the grime stuff I got more of liking to the stuff that Logos and Mumdance(Rabit as well) as it feels more striped back and less like 2005 grime being made in 2015(Which I don't think is too much of a problem now but was slightly at the beginning of this new wave of grime stuff)..

yeah, I can't stand that stuff in the dance to be honest. there's just not enough / too much happening. often I get the impression these beats are a bit weird for the sake of it, without paying any attention to the groove. that may work for dark 4x4 industrial techno, but with grime it just makes a lot of things seem very disjointed (looking at you Mumdance). and if it's not made for the dance, most of it lacks originality and musicality for me to listen to it. there are exceptions, of course; Moleskin's Grand Ballet, SD Laika's That's Harakiri LP...
all personal taste of course.

More MCs would be good as long as they are actual MCs and not just bellends who talk rubbish over the music

i want that too, just call out some motherfuckers on there
they could advertise 130 nights like "come emerald city rubeboy, get shanked"
for real though mcs would be good, dunno what you mean by "talk rubbish" but i don't really want conscious MCs teaching us about monsanto when youre tryna dance
