@Voodeedoo - great production on this one man, everything sounds super crispy, love your drums. I don't really have anything to critique other than the drums get a little reptative because the song is so sparse to begin with, but It didn't really bother me too much. sweet tune man. Keep at it your production is sounding very good to me.
@kikaruu - The intro has some fucking dope production, sounds so industrial and atmospheric. this is pretty kick ass I downloaded it

. Good mix-down, the only thing I would like to hear is that snare switch it up, as in maybe alternate it with another one as it really stands out and sounds kind of stagnant, not like how a real drummer would hit it. I also think its a little long in the chorus department before a breakdown, gets a little dull there. Some fills and syncopation could really help this song become ultimate. dope none the less though.
@Astral - not a huge fan of that sub note in the beginning to be honest, it doesn't give the drop any emphasis. the melody gets pretty old, maybe try filtering it or something to keep it moving or switch up the tone. mix sounds pretty good, im not the best critiquer of garage type tracks but it sounds pretty good.
here is my new track the mix-down needs a lot of work so its mostly about the arrangement right now, I know it has a lot of flaws but its getting tighter as I write. The drop is not at all done either

@ Lordbid, tune is sounding good so far man! i like the slow down parts, really cool! cant wait to hear it fully mixed down
i'll post some more feedback at a later point kinda busy atm, anyway, i have changed the intro abit just before it drops and added more of the sub turned up the lead synth and also the intro is not as harsh as it was before. so i will post the earlier version and the new one and i'd like to see what people think is better!!
touched up the mix down as well, would like some feed back on that aswell!
here's the new edit

@nibzdub - I really like your tune post-drop. It gets a little repetitive, but a few drum and wobble fills should sort that out. Your intro is cool, sounds better now, but it's really out of time, or difficult to place at least. I can't figure out when the drop's coming, and reacting to the drop is the best part of a dubstep tune (for me). Keep working, I like what you've got so far.
@LordBid - Interesting sounds and really clever ideas in there man, I like it. Have you put something in there out of phase? It sounds like there's hardly anything in the center of the panorama, and the right side sounds really lacking. Might just be my shitty headphones, but it isn't doing it for other people's tracks. Kinda weird. Apart from that, I really like what you've got so far. Maybe you could have a little less variation at points. It's nice to have some main idea to grab on to in a tune.
@Voodeedoo - Mate, this is awesome. Really lovely stuff. Brilliant bass and vocal sound. Really nice production. Apart from being a little short, I think it's perfect
Here's a new track I'm working on. It's the first drum and bassy track I've done in ages and probably my first decent one. I don't really know what I was trying to achieve when I started, but here we go...

My newest and most likely final version. Still think the kick is lacking. I will edit it more if good feedback comes up. Thanks everyone for the feedback so far I really appreciate it.
@ jakedubber - 2:00 into the mix I think the pad sound shouldn't fade out but be drop abruptly, it annoyed me. Everything else I can't comment on, because I don't know if my advice is valid being so new. Really dig the track ESPECIALLY the bassline, wouldn't call it 'haunted' but I don't know - I just really like the vibes. Maybe it would sound better if some parts were more stereo spread around. But I think you already have that going on. Anyways, like the track. Keep working on it.
@ nibzdub - On your new edit I think all the changes you made brought out the best. Good job. It sounds better.
@ kidstrange - Nothing bad to say, the buildup to the second drop I loved. Whole thing sounds good.
@ LordBid - I agree with the person above, its very right panned sounding. Still good though, post it up or if you'd like send it to me when you get it final.

@kikaruu- you got a great vibe here whole bit is great but man beef the hell outa those drums ..needs more!!..
@Voodeedoo- hellyeah feeling this one so chilln love that drum beat
@LordBid- smooth man like allll these videogame sounds going on agree drop could have some more uhhmph. wasnt sure if the outro was intended hope you make a smooth outro tho all in all sounds good man
@nibzdub- like this intro here drop is good. imo id add more snyths to of the main snyth. your line is great but throwing in some variety would spice ti up over all great job really diggn this.
@jakedubber- Diggn these samples. and the all the sounds. could use more percs tho just some added spice. overall great man
This is my latest work went a bit oldschool on this one stayed simple trying out stuff I feel it has a few touch ups will be great to hear what people think..

Kinda hit a deadend with this song so decided to make it into a little parody of "Raise your weapon" by Deadmau5. Y'know, that signature deadmau5 pluck into pretty bad dubstep. I'm under no illusion that this song can be considered good. Titled "Raise your turtle"

thanks everyone for the feedback. I don't know how you think it's out of time. it's all don't in 4 bars, on a sequencer so icant be out of time.. it drops after 24 bars I think.
so is the mix down sounding better by the way guys?

@Nibsdub - Like the new one, maybe shorten it a bit. Really liked the sound you have going at 2.20on. Hard to tell but it seemed to go off beat slightly by the end of its run though
@Jakedubber - The melody seems to break up a little too much around .50. Don't know what that is from but you did a very good job of making it nice and dark.
@Kidstrange - Only thing I would say is I hoped it was longer.
This is the song I've been working on for a few days now. Titled "Eats It's Young". The intro is a bit different and have added a bit near the middle end. Would love to hear what you think.

@Alt Fire - hey, ok first of all i like this metallic sound, sounds cool.. I would lose some of them "yeah" samples, cuz I personally don't like em.. also I think the kick should be widend a bit.
@kidstrange - i really like the general sound! I would lose that formant sound and add some lead, other than that wobble! nice nice!
@nibzdub - heard the first one, I like it, has a great vibe, lovely noises

but why won't you add another one of these verses??
ok this is my new one, please comment

tnx
I call it trance-step as it combines elements from dubstep and trance,

also, this is another one I did, which is purely psychedelic trance, comments will be welcome (almost done working an a dubstep VIP remix for this one haha)

yeah I think I'll add a transition at the second drop and extend it. I'm also gonna resample my bass so it sounds more full. when it's done I ll post it up. thanks for the advice guys!

i actually love it lol
sample is funny as shit and the basses sounds good is that massive?
i would just shorten the deadmau5 parts little long.
oh and what speed is those highhats on the dub part?? sounds alot like bar9's percussion and ive always wondered is it triplets or what.

@RandoRando - I absolutely LOVE the bass noise at exactly 1min 10 to 1min 15! Apart from that it's pretty silly

@Alt Fire - Liking your sidechaining mate. Kick and snare come through very nicely! Think it needs more song structure though.
@LordBid - Nice drop and drum sound is punchy as hell. Good job. Hats and FX are nicely spread too. Oh and the change of pace is wonderful

just got to this bit as typing the message!
Here is a track I have been tweaking on and off for a while. It needs a lot of work, at the moment it is pretty un-detailed. Needs variation and mastering. Could really do with some of your opinions so I can start formulating a list of adjustments to keep me busy for the coming weeks. Thanks in advance steppers!

Fatach: Always look forward to your tunes man. Liking the detuned synth at the start. Kick get's a bit muddy for me, needs more clarity? Low cut maybe a high boost. Drop was cool with the sample. Snare is the opposite, too slappy without punch. Composition wise this is fucking ace though man.
Alt Fire: Lovely sample in there, plenty of atmos. Again, the kick is far too low end driven for me. The whole thing feels really squashed and compressed? As in the whole file. Let things breath man. I do like the composition though, really interesting noises you're making.
Kidstrange: Again, another top intro. Atmosphere is what you want. Production of this is really good. Reminds me of 2007/2008 dubstep, kinda Benga-ish. Lovely saw wave. Not a fan of the over-popularised bitcrushed talking wob in there I'm afraid though. What makes this is your pads though. Fucking excellent mate.
Jakedubber: I hit your soundcloud yesterday man
LordBid: Again, I always look forward to a new one from you. Drum sounds are as tight as ever, as is your production. Drop is nice man, very nice. Dissonant organ sounds are cool in the background. That bitcrushed talking wob makes an appearance though :/. My favourite bit of this tune is the random little breaks into a 2-steppy/garagey kinda beat every so often with the tambourine. Interesting to see how this one sounds when done.
Worked on this this morning. Cheeky little sample from BBC's Grandstand theme tune in there.

Cheers you bunch of absolute bosses.

@ LordBid - decent little warper, nice breaks in the tune mate ... keep it up mate! THE CHANGES ARE SICK!
@ NibzDub - another warper .... feeling this one nibz ... bopping my head away ... maybe add some synthy bits onit? the breakdown LIVE
@ JakeDubber - nice mellow intro, i like this but that women is annoying lol ... the bass is nice and rolling
@ eldoogle - not a fan of this one mate ... the bass needs to be up, and that synth or what ever it is lame sorry mate ... get more creative it gets boring aswell imo
@ kidstrange - the intro is a menace nice work on that

the drop is ALRIGHT, the b-line is sick, maybe take out some of the warps and more sfx's
@ Espy - the intro again is sick .. house feeling ... nice and mellow chilled out, its almost like pop music lol no offence, just need some romanian bird singin onit and it might be number 1 lol ... NOT FEELING THE BRO STEP!
@ AltFire - good work, something a bit more different! its not my cup of tea but decent work mate, the yeah samples lose 'em
@ Fatach - not feelin it up until 1.32, just like the synth bits otherwise nothing special mate ... sorry! you need to get rid of that warp that comes in every four bars about 2.19
@ ideate - the intro is sick, and the drop is pretty decent, add some mad synths on there!
@ debaser1 - the best intro so far on this page, liking that boping along so far ... the drop is .............. NICE i like that, i would play that out, nice work mate finish it up and then send it over
fellow dubsteppers something i started on this week let me know, needs some feedback and maybe some ideas, but the blueprint is there let me know!

@Steeple - Not my usual kinda thing, I liked the percussion but sometimes I thought it sounded a bit boring. Nothing against you man, just beef up the bass a bit

@Debaser - Big up the Grandstand sample haha, the bass was heavy without being too "brosteppy", definitely need to make it longer

@ideate - The drop on this is killer, I'd love a 320 when youre finished with it, imo the intro sounded a little bit busy, but yknow, thats just me! I won't bother saying anything about variation cuz you know about that
Here's my new bit, I was just playing around with reversing some sounds and ended up making this, it's not my usual thing but I thought it sounded alright! But I could be terrible wrong

so here's my second attempt at a tune, any feedback's welcome

@CaptainPlanet: Nice use of abrupt silences. It has a nice groove to it, too; sort of a shuffled feel. I think that more variation in your drum pattern would be welcomed, however.
@Steeple: Deep bass, minimal drums. Sounds chill. The lead at 1:25 seems a little out of place, though. Might be just me. But it bears repeating that I love that bass!
@Debaser1: Nice intro, and the shaker in the background is panned well. I like the expressive bass, especially when it drops down at 0:37. Sick.
@ideate: Sounds are top, mate. I'd say that you should raise the volume of that vocal sample, and maybe add some fx to the background; it sounds just a tad too sparse, even with all of the variation in the bass (which is excellent, by the way).
@LordBid: Best thing anyone's ever said to me.

I've been working pretty hard at production, so I'm glad it shows.
@Kidstrange: Noted, mate -- there's no punch, lol. Thanks for addressing that.
EDIT:Sorry, I meant to post Colours:
