Some good bits in this thread. Would like to send a massive thanks to everyone who has supported my latest release! (It's in my sig )
I'd also like to mention that I've been a massive advocate of this kind of deeper sound on my sub.fm show since starting back it back in 2008 and on the Area Recordings podcasts I started a year ago. As the sound grows it becomes more difficult to keep up with the new producers coming through, but if you think you have anything that I might play on the show or feature in my mixes please send links through to me at info @ arearecordings.com
MAssive thanks also to the DJ's that have been supporting me and my tunes. Fused Forces, Crises, Forensics, Kion and the rest.!

yeah absolutely
(if it gets Miks posting)
but,
though I appreciate 4n6 & many others holding fast over the past few years
it's not the whole of the DS world.
Creations of the The Others, Silkie, Plastician, Seven etc etc
can't be cast off as dross along with the opportunist bandwagoners.
Youngsta, god bless 'im, knows what to persist with in order to create the core vibe
but DMZ, Skream, Caspa, Breakage & Skream, even Joker, can't be excluded from the heart of what has been revelatory.
I'm saying dungeon is creditable, deep and repping
but it's not the entirety of authentic dubstep.

Should have this and a couple of other big features coming in the next two or three weeks, so keep 'em peeled people.

A very worthy point.

Just listening again to district & sleepers getdarker mixes. They seriously need to start putting things out, tunes are too big to keep locked.

i don't think anyone in this thread would disagree with that.

He played a few tunes are the start of his show as usual from some unsigned producers. Theres a guy on there called something like "ShredX" who gets his tune played called "Silence" i think. Its heavy. Only thing is i cant find him altho Distance said he was on SoundCloud. Anyone come across him?
His tune is played second. Its only a few mins in if anyone can take a few minutes to have a listen and maybe point me in the right direction in terms of finding him. I tweeted @ Distance but didn't get anything back..
