init it's bullshit, they tried to teach me to better than A-level standard maths in the first term of my degree lol i never needed those extra 10 credits anyway. I don't think i would of done my degree had i known how much maths were involved basically half of the first year was proper in depth rain man level maths #fuckmaths

My A Level Statistics coursework was a thing of fucking beauty. Left picking a title until the moment my teacher asked me for it in front of the class... catching sight of a Starburst wrapper (yes, they were already Starburst... just) I said something like "I'm going to investigate the distribution of flavours within popular sweets to see if it's really true that there are more of the rubbish ones"

Forgot about it for a couple of months until the day before deadline day when I legged it to Tesco in Weston Super Mare to grab my data... they had kids party packs of Starburst on some sort of offer, so I bought a metric fuckload of them.

When I got them home and opened them out, I realised that each packet contained 5 sweets... EXACTLY ONE OF EACH COLOUR.

I had to make the entire thing up.

I already took the igcses actually, they're the same as the gcses basically.

The fuckin grade is relative to all the other students' grades. So as long as everyone else does shit and you do all right, you get a top score. I think the average correct answers on the GCSE in maths in 09 was like less than 20%. Thats how I got a B despite knowing fuck all about maths

Geography coursework was the worst, they expected you to go out and survey people in the town centre...

It became a bit of tradition to do this with tubs of celebrations at christmas. Was averaging about 20 snickers/bounties/topics/mars, down to about 10 galaxy caramels, lowest was obvs the galaxy truffle and maltesers at about 4/5 each.
