So what else is good in the world of hard dnb/tech/crossbreed/therapy shit at the moment?
If anything?

new current value album is alright, but it's pretty standard cv, and a couple of tech itch & dylan tunes. Other than that I have no idea. Kinda out of the loop with that scene.

Apart from a few tracks here and there i haven't been 'following' it since about '10 either.

Drum & bass wise, I'm mostly listening to older techstep stuff. Biotic crew and shiz

i'd come just to see fff
gotta love that dude

i think who stands out from the whole prspct polished sound (funny how it's kinda similar to how people on subsektforum feel about drumcode, who also used to be top notch and now release only tunes that sound the same no matter who made them) is/are katharsys
they really have their own style

i dont even mind the 4x4 stuff, i think rhythmically the whole crossbreed/hard dnb stuff is awesome it's just the timbres i can't stand. no grit whatsoever. current value and dean rodell do that well, but the rest really should consider some good old tube distortion or whatever

edit:

i know its a year old but yeah this is how it's done.

Cloaks are massively underrated. The whole 3by3 label in general actually.

Don't think the VIP ever got a release

>:0 dicks. I never liked the remix a lot, but the VIP's like a much more badass 'Agent Orange'

I searched 'breakcore' on SG and BOOM cdatakill!

Not much breakcore at SG, though. Not surprisingly. But that was pure gold
