yeah i enjoyed that too rkm .. i used to make tunes for most m8s birthdays, really good practise in that it's supposed to be just that, which frees you up creatively innit..

yeah like, usually ive been spending ages tweaking around with drum sounds and it comes out a bit thin and weak
but on this i just wacked on glue compressor and limiter, put 2snares,rim and a clap layered and then was like ahh fck it and put on overdrive

and it came out sounding a bit villainous

this is cool, I like the toms a lot but I think a pinch of reverb will bring them to life a bit more, the kick needs more punch to it as well as it kinda feels a bit weak and trebly at the moment, that sireny kinda noise that comes in about a minute in is really cool but feels a little bit loud to me and maybe could do with a pinch of room reverb or something like that

definitely a really cool tune though, would love a copy when you've finished it

this is really nice and the sound design is cool, I never really know what to say about ambient stuff though because I always feel like it needs drums and a bassline

probably one of the heaviest things ive done

i think you're being too tame with the midrange tbh, the bass is nice and the percussion hits nicely but it's just a bit too timid for a hype tune.

well before i had the sub/midrange in the same track but i felt like it was eating up all the other frequencies so i split the sub/mid and brought the mid down a bit
wasnt sure what sounded better tbh, u reckon it would be better if i brought the midrange back up a bit?

I think so personally yeah. might wanna wait for a few more people to give the verdict tho

A little more mid couldn't go amiss! Tune is bad ass man

it's got a nice skank man but yeah that buzzing sound, feels like the aggressions been stripped back and it doesn't really jump into your face with the bass to compensate (sorry if that sounds brostep feedback)
