innit, i sympathise with your position man, thats my main gripe with all this 130 stuff is the rhythm of it just seems a bit robotic and lifeless for my liking. Having said that i love some of the guys being mentioned in here regularly like murlo, tom e vercetti among others, but i dont consider them even in the same ball park as a lot of the keysound stuff.jrkhnds wrote:yeah fair enough then. I don't really like the stop-and-go approaches to grime though, especially at 120-130bpm. just sounds clunky and heavylegged, nothing that would get me in a flow.Dystinkt wrote:no worries man, not hate as such just not really into it i guess, ive been to a few techno nights and had a really good time but I find i have to be trolleyed out of my face to really get into it. Having said that Ive just made a techno remix of that redlight- 9ts for fun and its actually quite enjoyable to make.jrkhnds wrote:are you the guy who hates techno? no hate, just asking
tastes 'n that.

we managed to see a bit of both, was a great night music wise but i thought the crowd was a bit deadout, hardly anyone seemed to be properly skanking out :/DJoe wrote:missed his set cos i was in the kurupt fm room. really wanted to see him tooDystinkt wrote:little downs times two, he smashed it again at beaverworks in leeds the other weekgarethom wrote:Little downs.Forum wrote:Not a fan of murlo, every tune i hear him play has the same naff pitched vocals

did you talk to the big gay bouncer? he was just on speed giving people cigarettes all night.
Now I'm home, was just going through all the Murlo tunes I've got (inc. DJ Sharda tunes), and only 1 of them has got pitched vocals in them.Forum wrote:Not a fan of murlo, every tune i hear him play has the same naff pitched vocals

i like that one a lot, annoyingly slow to try and mix with other bassline iircgarethom wrote:Now I'm home, was just going through all the Murlo tunes I've got (inc.
