Thought I wanted that Gobstopper Peace Edits vinyl. Turns out I just wanted the original "Better Off Alone". Saved £7 too. Sorted.

no worries man, not hate as such just not really into it i guess, ive been to a few techno nights and had a really good time but I find i have to be trolleyed out of my face to really get into it. Having said that Ive just made a techno remix of that redlight- 9ts for fun and its actually quite enjoyable to make.
yeah fair enough then. I don't really like the stop-and-go approaches to grime though, especially at 120-130bpm. just sounds clunky and heavylegged, nothing that would get me in a flow.
tastes 'n that.
innit, i sympathise with your position man, thats my main gripe with all this 130 stuff is the rhythm of it just seems a bit robotic and lifeless for my liking. Having said that i love some of the guys being mentioned in here regularly like murlo, tom e vercetti among others, but i dont consider them even in the same ball park as a lot of the keysound stuff.

we managed to see a bit of both, was a great night music wise but i thought the crowd was a bit deadout, hardly anyone seemed to be properly skanking out :/

it was the emptiest ive seen beaver works in time but i didnt mind had a lot more room than usual. i was off my nut tho so wasnt really paying attention to anyone else. i remember it could have been louder in the main room upstairs
did you talk to the big gay bouncer? he was just on speed giving people cigarettes all night.

it was the first time ive been beaverworks seems a cracking venue, i just thought there were bare touristy students about like the type who were there because it was cool to be there and not for the music, more so than any other nights in leeds like this ive been at. having said that i was also mashed by about an hour in haha. no i didnt i spent most of my time in the big tent outside when i wasnt dancing, some guys were pretty cheeky trying to flog their ket to us 'yeah mate its the best ketamine you'll ever have I've just had a fat key and I'm fucking out of it!!'

me- 'safe mate how much is it then?'

ketty guy - '30 bar for 0.5'

NAH YOUR ALRIGHT M8

Now I'm home, was just going through all the Murlo tunes I've got (inc. DJ Sharda tunes), and only 1 of them has got pitched vocals in them. Probs between 10-15 tunes.

Edit: 2. Just found a remix of Heartbroken.

i like that one a lot, annoyingly slow to try and mix with other bassline iirc

Yeah man, I'm not even gonna try. Think over the years I've become too keyed in on the vocals, it'd just mash any mixing attempt up.
