Everton deserved the point yesterday, but GAH, I thought we'd done just enough.
Is it me or is Ozil struggling to make as much of an impact as hoped? He's getting more effective, but doesn't strike me as "essential" right now. I'd be more worried if Santi Cazorla or Ramsey got injured.

Cazorla's been awful so far this season, I'd say he's the least essential at the moment

I think Cazorla is having problems this season. Øzil has always been a 'luxury' player that seem to fall out of a match but then brings that million pound assist when you've cursed at him a few times.
I don't know if it is fair to put it like that either, because Øzil is the addition that made it possible to for Arsenal to rely on playing with inward 'wingers' a la Barca. I think Øzils technique is part of why they all play like they do now. Combinations instead of runs at peak moments.
Something 'magic' must have been going on in training tbh.
I see more of a problem with Walcott returning and not being able to play that role.

He hasn't fully recovered since the injury, he'll get there

anyway you gunners shouldnt worry aout an injury of an offensive player, i think that an injury like arteta or mertersacker would break the consistency that the team is showing

the depth of quality we have in attack means different players can step up each game, its all good.
Cazorla definitely off his POY form right now, but still lots of quality, he'll come good.
Ozil notorious for drifting in and out of games, but he has slotted in amazingly for me. He's not setting the world alight just yet but he's only 15 games into a whole new league and team, so he's only going to get better.
you are dead right about our centre back pairing, they are essential/ amazing right now
