Got the overall feel down but it doesnt have that dubby old feel yet, also not happy with the snares
Great atmosphere, nice melodies. If I had to point sth out, some percussive elements could sound a bit clearer in the mix
I always thought you'd been a 140 dungeon kinda guy, am I wrong or was this just a one off techno ting

I mainly work on 140-ish half-time stuff 2/3, and 1/3 other stuff techno, hip hop, DnB, experimental/soundscapy stuff. Wouldnt really consider myself to be in the 'dungeon' camp tho
sick! dont be shy in showing me some of your more techno-ish stuff

Thanks for the good words and will do, I've been writing a ton of stuff to my tascam 4 track, I've got a pile of casettes ready to be taken into the computer and developed into tunes. Working 2 accounting jobs rn and scoring some indie movie so production energy is low haha, soon come tho

Yeah its really fun; I find myself experimenting in much more 'tactile' and strange ways than when Im just sat in front the computer doing plug in and send routings. Find it much easier to 'dirty' things up the way I have in mind too, on the computer it never really sounds quite right to me. Its cool working with both sides though in a hybrid way. I track random shit and do sound design sessions on the tape deck, then I bring it all into ableton and chop it up and get things to work sorta nicely together.
Ive just got the tascam portapro 414mk2, cheap as fuck and has some handy eq's and pitch control.
I had two VCR's that were both slightly broken and gave sounds a pretty unique character but those recently both died on me. They both died while writing this tune to tape: https://soundcloud.com/cyclopianarchite ... v1/s-4pQO9 Cursed ting.

jungle vibes from me, anyone wants a copy let me know
Ignore the bass in this, just using that as a placeholder until I can think of a decent bassline, was more working on getting nice drums and fx and will revist the bass later, any ideas would and feedback would be lovely Soundcloud
