Rewatching the early series of this with the missus. Some of the special effects are dated as fuck, but the atmosphere it creates is still spot on
I rate Justified tbh, and I might get a bit of stick for this but ER seasons 1-5/6ish. It might be more of a nostalgia thing though, i'm not sure..Hibbie wrote:Any reccomendations for any dramas or comedies that would sit well within them lists would be much appreciated!
Surely if you like The League you like Workaholics? It's just the same dumb immature humour but with handegg references sometimesLaszlo wrote:I rate Justified tbh, and I might get a bit of stick for this but ER seasons 1-5/6ish. Comedy wise, try The League and Black Books if you haven't already seen it.
Also, Workaholics is complete garbage. Avoid.
Bro, tough one. It is good and bad. I think the writing is very good, I think the acting is just horrible. I've got a head the size of a vw bug, but I think I could have cast it better and gotten better performances.Laszlo wrote:Also, Workaholics is complete garbage. Avoid.
They both have a framework of immaturity but The League is much better written and better acted. There are, imo, subtle intricacies to The League which make it far more interesting than shotgun-comedy approach of Workaholics.Liam92 wrote:Surely if you like The League you like Workaholics? looool. Well, I suppose there is something worse than Workaholics, there's that going for it..Electric_Head wrote:shadup you fool

It's immature and stupid, but really that's the point:Laszlo wrote:They both have a framework of immaturity but The League is much better written and better acted. Also, yes Nowaysj, it may well have been a better show with a different cast. The wee squinty-eyed tnuc annoys me the most.
