Not entirely true. Yesterdays game was the first penalty shoot out we've lost in a few seasons and that's including two in the run up to the Carling Cup final. Overall we've got a good record in penalties, although I agree that our penalties weren't the best yesterday. But I'm just happy we managed to take Liverpool to penalties and play so well throughout the 120 mins.garethom wrote: Shame Cardiff are so pap at penalties.
Nah, I'm only going off the last 2 penalty shoot-outs, you were lucky that Crystal Palace's penalties were also absolutely shocking too.caerauboy wrote:Not entirely true. You can't take it away from Heaton with his saves against Palace though in all fairness, and how many keepers can say they've saved a Stevie G penalty? But even as a Cardiff supporter I'll admit it's quite shocking that Miller has missed two in a row and that neither of our strikers scored, but aaaah well, I don't mind too much they did us proud and I'm just looking forward to focusing on the rest of the league and hopefully achieving promotion now.garethom wrote:Nah, I'm only going off the last 2 penalty shoot-outs, you were lucky that Crystal Palace's penalties were also absolutely shocking too.caerauboy wrote:Not entirely true.
