I really couldn't care less what the fuck you think my music sounds like. Everyone starts somewhere and I'm not too far off the starting line in what I've been doing recently. Don't think I'm trying to justify my music to you though, because I really couldn't care less what the fuck YOU think of my music. The person listening to shit that's nothing more than money, marketing, and promotion is telling ME that my music is shit. That's not a very reliable source, not to mention that musical taste is all opinions anyways.

Doesn't this just sum up everything this movement of music was meant to not be about?

In a way, I think this will be good for the genre as a whole because it will certainly expose a wider audience to it, but at the same time there's the danger that the masses will start perceiving dubstep as solely being background music for rapping. :/

while doing my live social experiments around the internets, i had almost 100 dl's for that dre and missy remix in like 12h, and it's really just 3h of work, quite sloppy on parts, not using the standard halfstep, without the drama build ups and stuff, yet apparently catchy . it also doubled the daily hits i got on my website. this wouldn't happen without this hype here.
