he's been commenting on my videos predicting a few releases.CreamLord wrote:He's one of the old Tempa guys, also used to do like promo and shit like that for Hatcha and the DMZ guys
How do you know that and why does he do it only on youtubeCreamLord wrote:He's one of the old Tempa guys, also used to do like promo and shit like that for Hatcha and the DMZ guys
looks like it's getting released nowCreamLord wrote:Recall reading somewhere that mala or Coki weren't really fans of crystal lake iirc
Around 2005-2006 he and Hatcha fell out cause Hatcha was trying it with his GF so even though he's still good with everyone else, he leaks release info anonymously on YouTube out of spite. He used to post on here so that's how I knowepiccentipede6942 wrote:How do you know that and why does he do it only on youtubeCreamLord wrote:He's one of the old Tempa guys, also used to do like promo and shit like that for Hatcha and the DMZ guys
And you're the reason a lot of dubs don't get released imo.Muncey wrote:Crystal Lake really isn't that interesting. Aside from the nice old school amateur aesthetic a lot of old unreleased dubs have its just any old tune.. nothing special whatsoever imo.
No, but let's put it this way dmz for example like a lot of exclusive tunes and on coki's fb he says "does this deserve to be released" so essentially if there's a bit of negativity from a few people about an unreleased dub, even when there's a lot of positivity - it gives him an excuse to keep the dub unreleased. He even commented on his post that he might not release it when people were going on about the John Peel version.CreamLord wrote:What just Muncey alone?
Oh seen, so where unreleased tunes are concerned fans aren't allowed an opinion unless its brown nosing?epiccentipede6942 wrote:No, but let's put it this way dmz for example like a lot of exclusive tunes and on coki's fb he says "does this deserve to be released" so essentially if there's a bit of negativity from a few people about an unreleased dub, even when there's a lot of positivity - it gives him an excuse to keep the dub unreleased. Obviously the John Peel version is better. A lot of producers look at Youtube videos of dubs that have been uploaded to Youtube videos I bet. Obviously there are going to be tunes that everyone pretty much likes, but won't be released as well like Jah Power Dub for example I don't think will ever get a release for a very long time.CreamLord wrote:John peel version >> version on soundcloud tbh
Also it's not like producers are constantly asking people whether dubs from 2004-2006 should be released
Bet you rate Coki's Duppy Soursop thoughMuncey wrote:Oh seen, so where unreleased tunes are concerned fans aren't allowed an opinion unless its brown nosing?epiccentipede6942 wrote:No, but let's put it this way dmz for example like a lot of exclusive tunes and on coki's fb he says "does this deserve to be released" so essentially if there's a bit of negativity from a few people about an unreleased dub, even when there's a lot of positivity - it gives him an excuse to keep the dub unreleased. Nah m8, if I don't rate a tune I don't rate a tune I don't care if you wanna tickle Cokis prostate to try and get it. This is a discussion board, my opinion is just as valid as any "WULD DIE HAPPY IF THIS IS RELEASED PLZLZLZL COKI!!?!!!"
