My mentor and good friend passed away two days ago because of two fucking idiots who were trying to race down the highway. I'm 18 years old but my parents forbid me from dating the girl whom I love, so I have to sneak around to be with her. I recently lost my job due to a stupid mistake I keep making, and the one time I try to get my shit together and get my life on the right path my parents make it 10 times harder by telling me how much of a fuckup I am and how ungrateful and selfish I am. And how they don't care if I'm happy or not. This world is so fucked up.

My condolences. I can't stand to see people doing that on the road. When I was much younger I drove dangerously. Thank god I didn't hurt anyone. But people are getting extreme now, and the consequences are extreme.

You are right though, this world is very fucked up. But from me, a stranger, to you, a stranger, you should move out this Friday. You're an adult now, time to live on your own.

I'm planning on moving out after I graduate,, or if things get worse I will wait until I get this job at Best Buy settled and I can move out. Appreciate the sincerity man.

Yup, I am a senior out of DFW Texas. Technically I'm 17, but I turn 18 in January and legally I am still an adult at 17. I consider myself 18 because it's only a few months away anyway hahah.

y'all know I work at a refugee shelter, right? so I start my shift at 10pm. 90 minutes later I've already had to send two guys to the hospital, one because of high blood pressure (166/88, guy's 67...) and the other has a pinky the size of two thumbs. add insult to injury, I have to get up early and spend a day in the army tomorrow, yet the two blokes will have to wake me up once they return so I can pay their cab.

Week keeps getting better and better. Got hired at Best Buy, a week ago and had to pass a drug test and background check to get the job. Haven't gotten called back from them and have called up there 2 times now for them to tell me they should get it the next day, or day after that. I'm on adhd medication so I'm going to be pissed if they see the drug test is negative and not hire me.

They do that because they're waiting for vacancies. A friend of mine got a job from safeway in april and still hasn't had a shift.

what kind of business would refuse to hire somebody with a negative drug test? also, this is the wrong thread to post all your positive stuff. in here, we complain.

all the guys have returned from the hospital and are safe and sound. 3hrs of sleep left.

found out this evening a mate of mine died. he was at a rave on saturday in an abandoned mine, took some acid, wandered off and fell 30m down a disused well. reported missing sunday, police only found him tonight.

got a weird mix of emotions.

upset that hes dead

angry he died in such a stupid manner

but mainly that i think falling down a well whilst on acid and not being found for nearly a week is a truly horrific way to go
