I know this guy who was into dubstep in like 2007, clocked memphis rap / trap before raider klan was a thing and started listening to weird droning cassette releases and industrial like two years ago, guess if i just follow his lead i stay mad ahead the curve

remember when I bragged about getting a second resident night at our club? after they refurbished the basement? turns out they installed a new club manager with whom we had our first meeting today.

long story short; nothing of all that is happening anymore. beyond pissed.

guy at the top wants to take a new direction and is cutting costs, I suppose. we didn't get to the bottom of it because there wasn't enough time, but refurbishment has been deferred indefinitely. and we can't have a "dubstep" night on the top floor since the space is too large and too bright. just about works for drum'n'bass because we can fill the room with 250+ heads, but with only 100 people inside it looks empty and a bit shit. no vibes. plus the ceiling is very high.

i made 11 bucks from a 5 with a slot and i was happy then i realized that a bought a expencive beer at the place.
