At the moment all my mates are fucked off away from London for Uni or work 12-14 hours a day and get home, crash.. Its not the one but I can't just go pub or something, start speaking to some random people thats not me..I'm one of those "meet people through other people" types

Init, the only way I meet people tbh, is via my girlfriend or via her mates who are all pretty cool. Iv got no lad mates apart from my girlfriends sisters boyfriend. Tbh, im not sure if I miss having 'bestest friends' caus I get more time to do what I want to do, but sometimes, like when I wanna go out I dont wanna roll on my jays.

played bf2 all day today. gonna snap a few now and go to sleep.

see i dont have a problem in certain situations....like when im near someone i am comfortable with i can be myself and approach people, make jokes and be personable.....like on saturday i set out for a party and i did meet a couple cool people cuz i was all over the place, dancin, chit chattin...but...like u said im not at calling them "friends" yet... im working on it but u dont want to look like a psycho crazy needy friend person. lol

you guys should just be like me and be an over talkative mentalist from the start

i used to start off all quiet and act sensible when i met people, but it just led to them being even more surprised when they found out a few weeks down the line just how BEAR HYPED i am, so now i just act like 'normal' from the start

generally when im at parties and im having a good time....ill talk to everyone there if they let me...

the funniest thing tho....is when i go out with guys and i end up getting more girls then they do...and im not even interested.

meeting new people is hard to do on your own even when u are super confident cuz you never know what the other persons reaction will be....at least if ur there with a friend u have aback up lol, a barrier etc...blah blah

i smoked a bit earlier and fell asleep now im so burnt out and i have a headache....dammit.

yeah i get you, depends on the situation innit, parties are a highly social place so i guess you will be put in that mindset by the the general vibe there

I'm not that bad, still I hate parties when its like that scene out of Human Traffic the 'joint' bit.

At parties I usually just start vibing to the tunes, go to the garden or something, offer someone a beer/cig/joint and that breaks the ice, be like "ahh them tunes are good/wank innit?" I'm good at socialising in a socialising environment I have comfortable in, like a party

totally agree. i'm so glad i forced myself out of my comfort zone and started going to dubstep nights in london on my own. met some great people out of it, and you luke of course
