Speaking of maths skills, you've failed to realize that adding one hour to every day of the year gives you an extra 365.25 hours in said 'year'.

and no, I think that is the stabilizing factor towards the time where the shortest and the longest day occur where you used to divide the seasons.

no, it obviously detracts in days like with there being for example 31 days in some months and there wouldn't be if there was 25 hours in a nycthemeron.
