We turned up, it was the bar manager and "head promoter" and we basically just ended up chatting for 2 hours with a mix from a year ago my m8 made running via his phone

It was good because the last two times weve spoke its been a friday/sat night and hard to get details, but now we have the price, conditions, what they expect from us, what we expect from them and they gave us a choice of three dates.

we were proper screwing on the lead up, expecting there to be like 20 "djs" there ready to laugh us out of the venue, in reality they just this week started wanting Wednesday to be for guys to come down and have a mix and play some tunes. Dude was like yeah buy a six pack and put it behind then bar, we cna all get food and eat it in here so next week we will go down in a far more casual mood

We had a big film shoot with some bands at work yesterday and then I went to see a Torn Hawk live plus visuals type show afterwards who was fucking amazing.

Now I'm having the most mellow day at work just basically discussing getting funding for a band.

Unfortunately this is my intern job and not the paying one which is still heavy going as fuck

they're v uk bass/garage-house, but they play out in bristol all the time and they're a lot of fun
