no... tv turned good when film turned bad and now it's comming together in the way tv is suddenly produced like indie film . . . like breaking bad or mad men on amc or netflix paying for new seasons of arrested development or trailerpark boys

it's also super awesome that all the really big film studios are getting roughdicked at the same time as big tv companies losing shit loads on archaeic formats like comedies with laugh tracks, because they have to change the way it's produced

they have to give away authority to interested groups of people
instead of having one guy for example, run the nbc spring show line up or whatever.. (its a slight mini version of how work places changed during the tech bubble)

it's basicly the best moment for nonames in both areas atm which can only be good, artistically... the worst climate is when they can make a ton of spin offs or the same people producing shit after shit . .. i mean theres a difference from a sequel and a spin off and a genuine new spider man sequel (just as an example) is actually a huge risk they run and get fucked over from having tried out on us

if they where able to sell someone the idea of an aunt may or green goblin film, then you'd have to worry

tv is shit -> I wouldn't mind printing out the program for the next months so you can see how shit tv is
(some) series are good but there's enough producing shit after shit or dragging it out so you can have 10 seasons when there's no need
there're probably good movies being made not in Hollywood that I'm missing out on because shit commercial movies keep getting attention

there's never been made tv shows of the quality that is done now

artistically or in a financial sence

but tv is not tv or cable

tv is torrenting, netflix and so on imo

i like some shows that are unpopular and that everyone says sucks. everything that is really popular that everyone likes i cant get into
