this plate has been ultra hyped...it's good too
I been busy in the studio (my bedroom) making noise and not bothered buying anything new in a while, 90% of it is not what I am into.

Also I try to avoid anything that is 'hyped'.

No, my friend.

Brostep sounds DECIDEDLY heterosexual.
You know as well as I do, some people have gender identity issues... like Trill Bass for instance... TRILL001 was decidedly "gay" in terms of being "effeminate" and them being "males(by birth only)," whereas TRILL002 sounds decidedly brosef...

Trill need to be on their way to Thailand with that shit. PICK A SIDE TRILL BASS. YOU WILL ONLY MAKE ONE STYLE OF MUSIC OR GTFO!!! :w:

Rob Sparx obviously isn't in the mood to be making a "deep" tune this week so we get two gnarly rave tools from himself and Maverick. 'Windscreen Sniper' lets rip with a blast of clenched teeth synthlines and mechanical halfstep clank-beats, while 'Replicant' on the flipside performs the same trick with an even edgier lash of midrange synths.
really??

All music has sub genres and yes i love haters, they make the world go round. Brostep is not a negative description but i think some of these clowns think it is. Notice i haven't dropped one name in my posts, thats because theres nobody to call out imo. The name droppers are essentially nobody's which is why they name drop so much. Anyways let's make music, those of us who actually do that is.
Cheers for beeing safe on a thread full of asshattery.

But would you consider yourself to be doing the same thing as people like Martyn or Untold or Pangaea?

Tbh I can respect anyone who's making the music they like or listening to what they like, but the fact that people can argue for twenty pages about that sort of stuff suggests that maybe we're not all one big happy family with a united cause any more...

then which side gets to keep the name dubstep and what will the other side be named in either case?

bear in mind the future is at stake. -r-

does anybody think it is actually functionally better to have the avatars/usernames on the RIGHT side of the screen.

i personally think it is backwards and unnecessary and i have to scan the screen excessively to register who is speaking before i read the post.
