Grabbed J:Kenzo's new ones the other day, fucking huge. VIP of Roteks is something else though.

This has been my favourite track for a while now, everything Magenta does is huge.

I bloody love this thread. So much good music... this is where it's at kids. Not where some guy with half his head shaved is.

First tune I've started in 2 years, so I'm a bit rusty. Only the rhythm section is down atm (bass and percussion is my responsibility in this duo) waiting on my mate for the synths. Gonna have to sidechain the kicks and roll the sub off a bit, but as the bedrock of a tune how's it sounding?

yeah it's soundind good- only thing is the snare doesn't really do it for me (maybe stick a massive reverb oon it :6: ) but thats just personal preference. Post the finished one here!

well i know im biased but i dont see anything wrong with users posting their own stuff? it means more beats which can only be a good thing- and if you don't like it just skip over them?

Some excellent stuff here, loving the sound & all that, but it's becoming saturated already.

Too many people using the Kryptic Minds template/sounds and making unoriginal music. Obviously harder done than said but there's only so many spacious halfstep dark rollers using the same synth sounds one can take. It's about 500 I can take, but then it gets tiring.

Positive though, don't start no shit. This shit is about to take over, Round II shall occur.

I may have been guilty of making some tracks in the past that may sound similar to Kryptic Minds, i now tend to delete the whole project if it sounds remotely like them. I think leave these guys do what they do best or else things are starting to sound all a bit stale!

Rant over :Q:

Haha I agree, there needs to be more use of dub stylings to liven up the atmosphere and some more creativity in the instrumentation, sounds, samples etc Maybe next gen are just finding their legs before flexing out but at least it's well made if basic
