for the dubstep scene obviously. along with better standard of living and more opportunities, better government, etc. but 90% because of dubstep. really just london tho. don't think i'm talking about the birmz garth.
You would want to be a different nationality for a music scene that is obviously coming to an end? LOL. You know you don't need to show a passport to enjoy dubstep yeah?

Fuck London on the real though. Can't think of many more places that I'd rather not live in than London. Not a par to the people that live there, the place just vexes me.

As for the better standard of living/more opportunities/better government, I'm sure I'm not the only British person in here that's baffled by that statement. :cornlol:
gareth just give it up, you're part of the crowd that slates america for shallow musical taste and our shitty government and then when someone turns around and says yeah yuh know what i'd prefer the uk, you contrarianize yet again, no surprise, and put down your own country.
Lol, why are you so vexed? I've literally never once slated Americans for shallow music taste! At least half the bods on here are American you mong, I'm not gonna pack their tastes when I'm on the same music forum. Also, I don't get involved with discussions on America's government because it's the most boring discussion in world history. Ever. In fact, I'm basically in love with America. I'd move there and tbh, it's something I'm gonna be looking at doing in the future. Don't wanna BE American though.

I'm not putting down my own country, I'm just saying, it's not like it's any better than the US really.

And that's ok man, I wasn't saying that everybody should come and live here. Birmingham isn't perfect by any means, but it has everything you need to get by and more and things are a lot less busy and a lot cheaper than London. That's why I prefer it.

I wish people would stop saying that tbh.
Less nights, less names playing dubstep, if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say less dubstep releases coming out now. Sad, but IMO, it's had it's heyday and it's on the way out now. As Wolf said, there's not really many dubstep nights there anymore. :(

On the whole, I tend to agree with the views of many people in here haha. Just because I was baffled at you saying that you would change your nationality, basically for dubstep, don't mean I'm being contrary bro. :w:

If you're so passionate about dubstep, kick it off in your area. Don't just go to London and get swallowed up in a city where 1 in 3 people run their own night. Be the Pinch of wherever it is you live.

Wag'O'Magma-V doesn't get officially made redundant until Tuesday and she's already got her next job agreed with a nice little payrise. Lovely stuff.

Yeah, surprisingly so seeing as I've only ever been given the statutory or had to accept a complete piss-take. She's getting a lump of 6 weeks pay (3 years service, so double what they have to give) and doesn't have to work her month's notice so it's more like 10 weeks really... sweet as a nut!
