Pioneer mixers are worth their weight in shit. Cheap, store-bought shit.

Don't think they're that bad but definitely <A&H. It's funny how some products become the industry standard. I've seen ~100 capacity coffee shop-like bars spending big money on new kit from Pioneer - like upgrading from a CDJ2000 kit to a CDJ2000 nexus - even if the only DJs they have don't do any real mixing etc. just because it's "the standard"

Boosted EQs on a pioneer DJM sound so guff compared to A&H.

Only thing i like about DJMs over other mixers is the Dub Echo FX button on the 900's & the handiness of some of the other FX loops, spesh if you play out a lot of roots like me.

Bare people are most used to DJMs tho as theyre so common & wig out when confronted with a xone

thing that bothers me most: only 2 phono inputs; filters sound sooooooooo baaaaaaad it's unreal.

I actually get a surprising amount of riders with the Xone 92 on. More than the DJM I think.
But yeah, sometimes people want to have those effects handy.
