My dad decided for his mum that her cancerous cat had to get shot with a shotgun trapped inside a cardboard crate instead of paying a lot to get it offed at the vets... he just didn't consider that everyone around including his six year old son (me) would hear the shot and come running over - turned me off hunting tbh
