Socialists are hippies and poor. Anarcho-capitalists are monocle wearing bourgeoisie pipe smokers.

anarcho = anarchy
anarchy = without rulers or in today's terms, lack of state

An-caps are against the innitation of force, and define the state as a monopoly of force. They also believe that the state is inefficient compared to the market. Markets work better, cheaper and more effectively than government.

Made her see things from a different perspective. I explained "economics" to her the way I interpret it; a language through which we explain the free association between people and their environment and how large scale invasions into people's associations has negative unforeseen consequences. I also explained to her that any sort of central collective planning requires the innitiation of force, which made her think. I also showed her a couple of videos giving concrete examples of how inhibiting capitalism has hurt people and enabling it has helped them, such as this one and one on central banking.

She caught on very quickly.

Things would change a lot. Capitalism also includes self-ownership since your body is your capital. Drugs would be legal because they're merely an exercise of capitalism.

No taxes.

You could choose your own currency (rather than the state-protected inflationary currency we're forced to use)

The state allows minimal pollution of private property; in an an-cap society you could sue polluters.

The only legally permissable action is a voluntary one.

What kind of socialist was she? I'm guessing a Leninist.
