I didn't realize there was a Minecraft thread here. Nothing better than putting on a dark dungeon mix and spend hours exploring caves in Mincreaft. Pretty excited for the full release too.

yay - 1st world and i spawned next to a village!
didn't know they had people in them now lol

btw, put Minecraft1.0 for the seed, and you spawn in a village next to a swamp.

the villages mojang added are so crap compared to the millenaire mod
i'm just glad they're going official so all the mod makers who paused due to the constant prerelease bs can come up with updates
already lost my fave texture pack due to that crap

Haven't played since 1.4 or something, just downloaded it again and it crashes when I open it


Need to update my drivers I think...

it's honestly gone downhill since 1.4
so many of the updates seem like afterthoughts or things that mods did better in the first place that they would have been better licensing from said mod creators as official content
i'm just hoping for more options to disable some of the crap that got added to survival

The only new feature in the last few updated which I enjoyed was the new lighting engine.

Been meaning to play for a good 6 months, now the full release is out decided to do it.

Loving it, such an addictive game.

they had a great idea but that's about where it stops. it's the mods that make the game playable. almost all recent updates have just been shittier versions of pre existing mods.

yogscast put notch to shame with their press release, too. what figurehead of a company does dirty laundry on twitter? He had to have been drunk or sleep deprived.

Where are people playing?

The server I play on isn't getting a wipe till the 1st of december so looking for a place to waste some time till.
