I thought it was Friday so I was putting fire to ass but then I realized it was Thursday and was like
Shit got grooves like a vinyl lathe. Gonna record some more guitar tonight or tomorrow and then do incidentals and automation and then mix on Saturday.
This is what happens when Sunk gets his drugs in the right proportions. And by drugs I mean vitamins and nootropics. Grandad/scientist drugs.

Gonna go record gtr now.

Grind motherfucker!
These weeks track TOTALLY got away from me. You know what I'm talking about like you got something going on, work on it work on it, and it just squirts from between your hands? FUCK. I really thought I had one this week too. I'm gonna try and salvage this tonight!

My problem is I get two good parts that don't really transition together and I have to write a billion bars of intermediary material that itself spawns more junction writing. It's like the hydra.

Yeah that's the problem though, they're similar enough to be the same song, but they still need some smoothing to transition into one another.
I guess I could just go the classic dubstep route and have the same exact riff the whole song
I'm making jazzy hip hop tho

hm whats the difference between them? dif key dif rythm dif instruments?

Just rhythmic emphasis and harmony. Like for instance, one part will change chords twice as fast as another or just be more busy rhythmically. Basically what I gotta do (and what I just did) is basically crossfade between all their attributes. So I'll make a pattern that has the same chord changes of part one but more similar rhythmically to part 2, and then the next section will be similar but with the bassline swapped out or some hybrid between the two, etc. until I get to a point where I can jump straight into part 2 without it sounding off.

haha, no I agree 100000% w you. Sunk's music is SO smart that it can NEVER be finished. It just can't fit within a song. No song could contain the brilliance!
