This is mad really. Just some simon cowell advertising/hype exercise and nothing to do with the music or the people that really wanted the tune.

Much prefer the original dmz approach - don't even mention that it's limited. Boss moves.

from the looks of it my alarm was off by about 30 minutes. damn.
friend of mine managed to snag one, though, so it looks like i'll be able to cut it to dubplate anyway.

There you go. But nooooo, releasing Midnight this way was not a dick move at all, and I should be ashamed to think like that of the Great Loefah, who is not disrespectful of his fans in any way. Never in the world would he have tought this would happen, he only thought it would be oh so cool to release it on one of the hottest underground labels around, that incidentally happens to press only 300 copies of every release. He was only thinking good, can you not see?

:q: :q: :q:

And yeah, of course I'm bitter ONLY because I didn't get a copy. If had grabbed one I wouldn't care at all about the other unfortunate people who didn't manage to do so. In fact, I would be sitting there laughing at them, rejoicing about being a part of the very exclusive club of owners of an official pressing of Midnight.

The only positive thing I can think about this is that I haven't wasted my entire day refreshing an Internet page every 30 secs. Other than that, I find it - surprisingly enough - quite hard to swallow the pill.

Sorry to all who get so easily offended by the "negativity", believe me when I first read about the rumours of a release I was more than ready to get mad happy. For some reason my mood has changed since this morning.

Big up the guy who traveled from Glasgow. Seems like a crazy thing to do considering idle hands we're sure when they'd take delivery.
Not sure if it's loe's fault that someone done this tho.
Seems a bit like a one direction fan girl move if you ask me.

Just wanna say big up loe and bh for getting the record out there. Without that no one could even think about bootlegging or ripping it.

yeah I might be a bit annoyed at this but lets not forget:

both of those tunes are fucking sick music and this is at the end of the day better than just it being a dub

I'm letting mine spin on my auto repeat turntable continuously for the next 2 weeks to get that authentic "10 year old dubplate" sound

No I don't mean he's struggle with setting up distro, pressing and such.

I mean we all thought both these tunes were lost dubs forever a year ago.
He obviously never done it for the cash, else he would of pressed more.
He's released it coz he wanted to let a limited number of people have his tunes.

Also..The others who couldn't cop the release get to hear a rip of the vinyl. Am I missing something as to why people really feel the need to cuss the man?
Not aiming that at you lenman btw, or anyone else in particular. I just don't see why people are venting their anger towards the guy, I bet he wishes he hadn't released it now.
At least the tune is out there as not another lost dub surely?

I mean I wasnt that invested in it as I was at work so I had no hope, but its abit long to see people flipping it for loads or attempting to trade preorder emails for other rare records.
just thought the 300 poster was funny tbh

I got a copy and I still stand by not understanding the reasoning behind releasing 300 aside from being pretentious/feeling like a superstar due to all the hype for a little while ect.

TBF reading all the people who went to huge efforts and didn't get it has made me a little sad, I'm certainly not excited to get it.. I'm sure when it turns up I'll feel different but atm its still a bit of a sorry state of affairs. Feel a bit guilty too cause I literally happened to check at the exact right time.. not me who should be feeling guilty tho.
