it's good and clearly efficient in a club enviroment, but i also think there are waaaay too many bandwagoners and very little innovation in that kind of dark techno/industrial techno/berghain techno or whateveer you call it... is happening the same thing with mnml some years ago
it was good when releases used to be a very underground wax thing, then after CLR, the previous schranz producers and labels like nachtstrom schallplatten went aboard with the digital release route tons of beatport guys and labels and mnml producers have over saturated the scene
Great list of tracks Pre-ordered it, paid an extra 3.50. I'll follow the site more closely too, because
it looks like you got some great content on there!

It's a nice dark sound. Doesn't really remind me of Blawan though, I'd say Shifted maybe.

Just heard the world premier of Jeff Mills's show Jungle Planet will be just an hours drive away from me.
Part of the Sleeper Wakes project.
So big, it's worth a double post

ahha , Tom is a true gent, great techno producer, look out for him in a few years time, he'll be heading the big gigs for sure
Talking O tom and loads of other techno producers, ELECTRONIC EXPLORATIONS has just released its 1st compilation
It's only 60 tracks long ... just under 6 hours of music ... but for only £5 .. (You can pay more which I hope you can)
All money raised goes towards the mastering costs / new website design / new stable hosting costs ,,,,,

I've been getting more into Techno lately and bought this tune on vinyl this week.
Never really been that familiar with Blawan's sound or Techno in general but this tune absolutely blew my mind. That whole ep is juts crazy good.
Also bought that Minutes In Ice compilation on Frozen Border which is also really really good. A definite recommender.

Explain Is his music not considered as Techno? Like I said though, not really familiar with it all and it is advertised as being Techno so yeah, that's why haha.

No not really but it's certainly not a producer I think of when someone says techno. But that's kind of obvious,
the music has been around for a good 25 years or something.

Well, I think obviously he makes Techno now, be it a much more organic side of it, and he pretty much plays just Techno in his sets now. He is someone related to the 'bass music' scene too, so people who are into that, know who he is, and then are getting into to techno via him. It's from listening to Blawan though that got me into the darker side of techno though, he was the first bridge over to that side, and now there is just a world of that stuff to go through haha

As far as i can tell he never actually wanted to be apart of the whole Post-Dubstep/Bass scene but was grouped in with it as he was making pretty unique stuff at that moment and people didn't really know what it was so connected him with it.
I think Techno has definately gained a lot more listens (including myself) with the new influx of producers creating Techno or Techno influenced stuff.
