Hi guys. I've been lurking the forum for about 9 months now, and I thought it was about time to create a user.
I've dj'ed a bit, mostly DnB and dubstep and only at house parties. Anyways, looking forward to join in on some discussions.

I'm a 17 year old dubstep lover from Portugal!
I got in touch for the 1st time with dubstep when I was watching SKINS TV series and they played a dirty sound! I went to the web searching for it and that's where I found SKREAM!
I also like reggae, indie rock, 80s rooock, music of the world, blah blah blah...

Hello,
I'm Chris, I'm from Somerset but been living in Tokyo for the past year and a half. Got into Dubstep about 2 months ago via the Jungle/Drum&Bass/UKGarage route. Not much Dubstep over here (that I know of) but the first opportunity to witness it live is coming in 2 weeks time when N-type touches down!!!
nice to meet you.

Hallo People!!I was always a Jungle/D&B DJ for more than 12 years. But in the beginning of 2006 i was also gone into dubstep/grime and i never was feeling another music so deep.
Since more than 2 years I´m not more feeling the fast breakbeats(except oldschool jungle), mayby i`m older,or just the music is gone very bad.
I am so happy and gratefully to have Dubstep in my life - its a similar feeling like in the early 90`s i was gone into jungle -and it was a great youth development ..i hope all the dubstep headz keep the ball kicking ,yo know its just the beginning of a new great era
BIG UP THIS FORUM AND ALL PRODUCERS, DJs AND SUPPORTERS OUT THERE!

Holler!
I've posted couple of times but I thought it would be nice if I told sumthin' about myself first.
I'm from Finland and mainly listen to dubstep. I like house (french touch), rap, ambient, dub, idm and little bit of psytrance and other psychedelic styles.
I don't DJ or MC, I just listen

I'm also semi-active in
step ahead, a finnish dubstep forum. Big up steppahead-crew!
Nice to meet all of you steppas!

Forum:
I am late to register as a member, as I've been reading the forum semi-regularly for a year or so. I can't believe I didn't register sooner, as I started following dubstep sounds in mid-to-late 2005.
Music is a vital part of my life and even though it's an intensely personal component, I recognize the importance of shared values and community. Other than dubstep and future dub, my music interests include Detroit techno, Chicago house and acid, '91 to '93 UK breakbeat hardcore, '93 to '95 jungle/drum and bass, 2step, bassline/niche, Belgian new beat, Krautrock, drone, experimental rhythmic noise, minimal loops, and heavy bass music.
I've been a DJ for a while and now beginning to branch out. I'm interested in sharing ideas and contributing something outside of my head. Currently based in New York City, I've only been to Dubwar a few times and looking forward to attending more of them. Again, I'm kicking myself for not going sooner because I was aware of it for quite a while.
Thanks to the forum for providing links and a gateway to shared information.

Greetings
My name is Vann and I'm currently taking residence near Washington D.C. I was introduced to Dubstep through Aaron Spectre's "Reptile Dub" mix set. I've only been listening to it for a short time while I've been building up my collection over the last year and a half. Beyond simply mixing I am interested in starting a production project of my own.
I'll most likely be lurking more often than posting.
See you around.

Yoo everybody, I've been reading this forum for a couple of months now so now I signed up.
So I'm Hans, I live in a small village in Belgium, but actually I'm Dutch. (First I was living in Eindhoven) After listening almost all styles of music (metal, rap, drum n bass, idm, elektro, breakcore, hardcore,...) I now think I've found my true genre, namely dubstep. I discovered it after reading an article about Burial's Untrue, it said it was dubstep so I, curious as I am

, started a search and found out about this great genre.
I also started producing some dub-influenced music but i'm still a beginner.
Feel free to contact me and keep them wobbling;)

eyup people,
i've been browsing this forum for a little while now and i like it a lot.
so i thought id introduce meeself: i am a professional listener. my fingers suffer from mixophobia with inverted scratchlessness, my music production skills were denied at birth and i can't seem to create a tune to save my life, no matter how long i twiddle knobs in subtractor.
i am however a bass lover, amateur knee jerker and eternal head nodder. i discovered dnb back in 2000 when i came to the uk. that sealed the deal. back on the continent i've strayed a bit, mostly towards the french rave movement and now i'm jumping on the dubstep bandwagon after some heavy bass-busting sessions dled right here ... oh and that tune from rusko. makes me feel like Baloo in the jungle book, you know that bit where he can't stop dancing to king louis beat? mmmmm
dat it. i'll be tuning my ears in for all your sounds

PEACE !
