Good film, Ben Kingsley as a druggie therapist pot dealer. He was great and I kept forgetting it was him. Some of the slang in the dialogue is horribly cringey, but it takes place in the early 90s which I found out later. It made more sense after finding that out. It kind of reminded me of Kids, but with a heart.

When I watched this for the first time the soundtrack spent a week on heavy rotation.

I'd go as far as to say, That in my opinion (im being careful ) and by using other series I've seen as a comparison, That this is the best thing on TV. Brain Cranston is absolutely fantastic and my original worry of just seeing him as Hal from Malcolm In The Middle wasn't an issue at all.

Nice film with some excellent acting from all those involved. Payne seems to have a knack for directing this sort of film. Fans of About Schidmt will like this.
