Anyone tuned into Film 4's Great Directors season? Lots of great films in it, too many to list.

Dazed and Confused, A History Of Violence and Network have probably been the most memorable films I've seen this last week.

True Grit (2010)

Not the Coen's best work but a great film nonetheless. Jeff Bridges was particularly good. Shades of The Dude at times.

i agree about true grit. also that dude with the bear is my favorite.

Barton Fink would probably be my pick for best Coen film. I've yet to see A Serious Man.

that`s a cult classic along with Army of Darkness, etc.

It`s meant to be cheesy as fuck.

Watched the Redux version of Apocalypse Now this week.
Just never disappoints. What a legendary film.
