Had a gastroscopy b2b sigmoidoscopy yesterday. The camera up my arse was horrible, but manageable. The one down my throat however was the most harrowing experience of my life.

Atleast I know in future. My mum had one under general anaesthetic before, whereas I have to get what felt like an arm down in my stomach for 10 fucking minutes whilst being entirely sober and conscious. Shit was intense.

Right, I was supposed to be in work for just after 8am today and I am still sat at home..... why? Because my boss said they'd pick me up and we'd travel up to Edinburgh on the 9am train together for the 11am meeting. I am still sat at home now, in my work clothes, waiting for a lift. If I try and ring their mobile phone it goes straight to answerphone, besides which the train has long departed. Even though I imagine it's safe to assume I can take the day off, I already had the day off but said I'd work it as I need the £.

BUT OH NO! They fuck it up again; I could have hired a van today and moved all my shit into my new flat
