Yeah, it was eerie. The label was notified that he was gonna play my track "When I'm 6" - which was huge for me, as that was my debut release. And I think it was the next day or so that he died...It was all so surreal.

Radio1 decided to run his last selected playlist, and that was the show it was on.

my biggest achievements are probably getting radio play on sub.fm, dubstep.fm and few other net stations. also gettin few tunes in some mixes. and dj furness said he was gonna play a tune of mine at creamfields last weekend but i dont know if he actually has. was pretty cool getting blogged as well.

kinda chuffed been producing for 7 or so months but still got so much to learn.

i wanna start djing tho but i really dont know where to start

start with a numark battle pack, its cheap, and will help you learn the ropes before diving into more expensive equipment

Being offered a release along with custom artwork, but turning it down because I didn't really like the tune that much.... also, a tune being used to promote some Graf that got a little bit of attention.

Apart from that......

Being in the worlds largest orchestra was pretty ill. (not many can claim they are an actual record breaker (: ) and also, having one of my new tunes used on ReturnTrips Brutal mix. He's from Japan!!! I was soooo hyped at that!!!

ICR is ill. Didn't he have a tune or 2 on a breakbeat science comp? Kid had tunes for days, i remember.

've been playing music professionally for nearly half my life. In that the mundanity of life is warpped up in music for me, t's really easy to lose track of the simple pleasure of all of this as yr trying to get the budget for a project, book a tour, get the crediting and publishing right, etc.

And with that, it's really easy to loose sight of the fact that some things are amazing. You have something that's so pie-in-the-sky you don't even think of it as a goal... and then it happens. what next?

best thing you can do is just be mentally thankful for the blessings that you're ABLE to make music, and share it with folks who are grateful that you've created it.

I've been lucky enough to play some gigantic festivals, do some really good session work, play some absurdly-big venues, work on really good releases and be able to develop relationships with folks who i looked up to as icons even just a few years ago.

The high moments come when that elusive feeling that we are, indeed, doing something that world can't live without is present everywhere. That actually has no bearing on #'s, playlists, or checks.

my greatest achievement was smoking a blunt with DZ after a show.

my tunes have pretty much chilled on my website with roughly 100 downloads each. i usually don't push my stuff around so much.

having plays on internet radio when i had been producing for a couple of months was very big at the time, and getting a tune on the dsf production forum mix volume 1 around the same time as that as well (ashamed to say the tune on that mix didnt even have any eq's :o , noob  )

more recently had a label contact me for a release and remix, got good feedback from distance, cyrus and scratcha and had Mary anne hobbs favourate one of my tunes on soundcloud and send me a messege.

Getting all of my first 3 real productions played on 1xtra and Rinse.

Playing the Gallery@Turnmills on 3 different occasions (2003/04/06) and getting through the heats to the final of the Kiss100 Battle of the Djs
(2003).

Oh, and having the freedom of the decks in Vinyl Junkies!
