Hmm, as someone who LOVES playing the race card, even I would say that this isn't really racist...

I'm black and I can say this: some people got WAAAAAAAAAAAY too much baggage/unnecessary complexes - often race related. I re-read this issue and it's still nonsense.
I've been to ghana several times...in a predominantly black country the EXACT same situation is going on in multiple instances. "The white people over there, the white people walking down the street, you see those white people over there walking, not that guy but the white boy standing behind him, you know the lebanese people that run that bakery, the chinese people in line at the bank, see those portugese drivers.....etc etc etc etc etc"
nobody's calling newspapers.
complexes are a disease.

It say a lot about the current era! They feel they will be taken seriously by bringing this non issue up. They must be proud of themselves. They would probably be offended if the waitress asked them if they would like their coffee black or white. It a fucking joke.

What does he/she say in the apology? "I'm sorry. You're not black, I was just having a bad day"

its the obama effect. its happening every single day all across america. people taking basic miscommunication or bad communication and running in through a racism filter, jumping to conclusions, etc. obama's influence on this is profound, because its given people a platform to manifest their own personal issues. its healthy because people should be discussing race, but exhausting on many levels.

Yeah but, it was happening way before Obama. Do you remember the HUGE court case a few years ago where a woman took the word ****** (or a word to that effect meaning "slightly annoying") to be a racist slur?
Im probably wrong but, i seem to remember her winning the case
