I used to be more of a breakcore producer, but now im trying to make dubstep with "breaky" qualities. Check out the second drop in the tune in my signature to see what i mean.

Do you have any examples of 280BPM dubstep/breakcore mashups? Just wondering since I saw it on a forum we both hang on..
Did you
really kiss a horse

This one came out on Betamorph last year

And this one is actually an early one from me from like 4 years ago but it didn't come out till a few months ago

Love these, esp. the new one
Not been impressed by most breakbeat the last few years, obviously haven't been looking in the right places, this thread has restored my faith. Future Breaks ftw

Thanks

Bit better reaction than I expected to be honest. Kind of gives me the kick in the ass needed to finish this up this weekend. The original is kind of an old school jungle thing from Parallel so I figured what I did is what it called for. Supposed to be coming out on a label which I forget tbh lolz.

former breakcore dude also. i came into this wanting to somehow merge venetian snares with burial. my approach is a bit more open since
see this for something more relaxed or my sig for something for the dancefloor
