DJ's are gonna have to turn up on time, by turn up on time, I mean an hour or so before their show starts.

Kiss had a lot of decent shows on it back in the late 90s. I remember listening to the likes of Colin Dale, Coldcut, Grooverider etc.

Very happy about this. Once the frequency is declared could someone post it on here?

Been listening to Rinse since I was 12. The first show I ever heard Dubstep/garage on, changed me entirely.

Now I can be the twat that sends my mixes in to try and beg a set.

congratulations to Geeneus and all the Rinse FM family...

as long as Youngsta is allowed to continue mixing for 2 hours straight on his show each week...without adverts breaking it up every half hour or so (like on Kiss)...then i'm happy...

Now that's what I wanted to hear. Bigggggups. I hope we'll still be able to stream here in the US without territory restrictions.

nothing but big good news!

As said before, the work involved in this would have been EPIC, so large up everyone at Rinse involved, but i guess the hard work has just begun. Good luck with the rest of the journey still!!!!

Just found the audio on Blackdowns blog of the announcment, and it gave me tingles.

Large up Rinse FM :)

Good Link, thanks.

Anyone know if its a 30day temp thing? I believe more times it is? (Or used to be in the 90's.)

Don't think so, i believe its a longer licence... 30 day ones usually have very low power anyway, an are isolated to a small coverage area..
looks like Rinse is getting a fair old bit of London coverage, rather than just the Bermonsey location it stated on the application
