wirez - loved this track grime + dubstep = magic. Bars are sick on the tune sick mc!! the beat compliented the lyrics sick this is a top track.
Cheers a lot geez, nuff respek!
Regarding your track -
[li]Nice solid sound, I think the filthy wobble sound could do with some higher frequency presence though and maybe exploit the stereo field a little bit with the high mids and up.[/li]
[li]Lovely snare on that one![/li]
[li]Love the samples - the spoken one and the 'aaayyyeeee' sound, sounds pretty awesome [/li]
[li]I think you've gone a little overkill with your mastering and have smashed the track a bit too hard, seems slightly distorted and is lacking depth in the dynamics[/li]
[li]Could definitely do with some more variation, maybe drop that high pitched synth out for a while, it gets a bit tiresome. [/li]
Cheers for the indepth feedback!!! yh the mastering was just a quick thing was thinking of changing it up and going less over the top just hoped no1 would notice to be fair
Totaly agree with the variation , i always have problems thinking of ideas for the melodies and patterns thats why why tracks get a bit samey but yh that synth does get tiresome.
Again thanks for the feedback it helps alot with improving my tracks

@ Basic A
Wicked vibe. Drum sound is tight, so is the sub. I'd be tempted to put some subtle pads in there to fill it out and bring another musical aspect to the tune. Maybe some hard panned Junglist percussion?
@ Wirez
Love the intro. Good mix. Good MC i would maybe mix-up the mid-range saw synth, fuck around with the sound maybe? The whole tune progresses really really well which is so hard to get right. It plays like a listener and a club tune.
@ Mr Woof
That Luna track has a really nice hook. The build up's work really well, the sound's all very tied in. Drops nicely. I love the progressive element, works really well. I would take the mid range and make some edits - Pitch, reversing chopping, etc - you've got the prog element in the pads and drums, i reckon you just need to change up your sounds at points, maybe chuck in a few more sounds. Also change it up musically, chuck in a few different notes every 16 bars etc. Wicked tune though.
@ Geeza
Nice hook. Aggree with the mastering but it is such a hard aspect of production, I can't do it. Give everything a bit more breathing space, check your EQs and where everything sits in the mix. Change up the synths, copy the midi data over and just chuck in a new sound. Fuck around with the melody every 16 bars or summin maybe?

Thanks for feedback pal! Glad you enjoyed.
Regarding your track -
Nice solid sub bass post drop
Intro synth wasn't overly attention grabbing
Love what the synth is doing in the main section, sounds quite purple but darker
Well played with exploiting the standard dance music structure and transitions, really helps the track move.

Totally aggree with him, but nice track though i really enjoy it
Here's a new one, i don't really check any post in the forum besides this one, It's a way to keep procrastination away and keep doing tracks for every month
preview of the latest one i finished for my ep that i should be putting out soon for sale if anyone is interested

Russia - Siberia, Omsk + St. Petersburg
illocanblo aka S - Tek presents you with a soft,
disturbing the mind and body of track,
made in tandem with a wonderful femaleproducer - Pralaya
@joshH: Not digging that vocal sample, everything else is alright though.
@deadly: Liking the ambient sounds, nice chillout track. Will have to give your EP a listen.
@kiev: Vocal sample is a bit odd, I was expecting something more chilled out from the intro (love the fade on the hat pattern btw) but this is somehow aggro and chilled at the same time!
Could do with more effects especially on the breaks but here you go.

as seems to be completely standard in these threads, i wrote out a load of replies and then my browser crashed and lost them all, so heres a condensed version of what i was getting at:
reigns: not really my cuppa, kick and clap seem a bit disproportionate - clap seems to be masked bit by the bass. middle bit with piano is quite cool.
enza - bit euro sounding for my liking, the actual rhythm of the synth line seems a bit childish to me.
imperial - again, not really my thing, beats are too buried under tall the mid range lark
ilv1 - really like the intro, doesnt feel like it drops into the right thing, was expecting something dark and dirty but it went all silly and wobbley
wirez - yeah quite like this, even though im not normally into grime at all. would still rather hear it with no mc though! main criticism is the beat, snare feels like it needs to be snappier, and the shaker really sticks out to me, its that whole machine-gun retrigger thing that grime seems to be well into, but sounds cheap as fuck to me. i reckon push it back or sample an actual shaker.
mrwoof - i quite liked this one, mid range thing had some rather nice buzz/growl to it, and the beat had quite a cool feel to it too. i reckon you could fill this out with some more incidentals and background atmos - some well placed chords here and there would really bring this to life.
sovereignity - yeah wasnt really feeling this one, a bit wobbley for my liking. vocal sample at the beginning seemed a bit pointless, and drop could have hit harder too.
basic a - yeah this one is cool, well moody and minimal, sick bass too. not sure about some of the bits where it seems to go into complete silence, and feels like you could perhaps have a bit more stuff just to keep interest as it progresses.
my latest one is here if you fancy giving any feedback: Soundcloud

@gravity : It's well produced! It's a bit repetitive for me though! I guess you probably wanted it that way, but not my style!
I am a new producer to Dubstep, and just finished my first track,
I still have a lot to learn, so any feedback would be appreciated.

@ Reignz
Cool tracks man especially the 99 problems remix Fat drums nice panned hats FX bass sounds are sick too.
@ Mr Woof
This is cool man(port Luna), the synths are good man, they have a nice epic feel the bass is simple but has a really great feel too
@ Geeza Nice dark track-gully spoon, likin the drum changes and vocal samples, really suits the feel. i feel it could do with a lil more highs, may be some hi claps or snare on the main snare?
@ Whyrez- solid deep grime track, 2 things, maybe some sort of epic build could have been nice to emphisis the lyrics may be some well timed delays echos on the vocal. really good tune overall
This is a nice summer remix of Busta Move (young Mc) Kept real simple

That's the sound mate, but thanks for checking it out and leaving you opinion
Regarding your track -
Wicked intro, decent percussion, groove, and nice vocal sample!
Nutty drop, very different! Could do with more strength behind it, although the sub bass is there and reasonably solid, it needs to come up in the mix.
Nice progression around 1.25
Wicked glitchy bits!

Thanks a lot dude! Enjoyed your track, it was nice and bouncy, but I felt the track felt a little empty through a lot of it, I know a lot of melodic stuff is used through the track but it felt as though it needed a more consistent hook to follow the bassline.

@wirez - like it a lot. everything sounds really tight. maybe just a bit more variation somewhere (think someone said that already), but maybe an unpredictable switchup midtrack where the mc drops out and you can show your production skill off a bit more cuz it sounds like you really know what you're doing. real solid.
@JoshH - digging the chill vibe and the mix sounds tight. the vocal sample's all right, but maybe just a little bit less of it, seems like it takes over the other stuff too much and gets a bit, well, annoying (sorry don't know how else to put it). but, yea, maybe just less of it would make the track stronger cuz i definitely wouldn't get rid of it totally. again nice vibe though. maybe think about making the clap a bit fatter? personal pref though, im just not a huge fan of stocky sound snare/claps.
@kievccs - ultra heavy sub man. don't have much to say, it's pretty dope. i'd call that one done, good work.
@gravity - wow, love this one. awesome effects, and could be some of the sickest percussion i've heard in a while. i like the steady flow it's got, not too much crazy variation, it works real well for the track. i was just thinking maybe like a really chilled out vocal sample right at the end of the intro might be cool, if you find something with appropriate lyrics, but if that's not your thing no big deal cuz it works real well already.
@X Hertz - like it a lot. percussion is real nice, fat and clear. something seems like its missing though, especially in the intro, not sure if it does the rest of the track justice. that synth melody that comes in at 1:24 is cool, but it might need to be little louder in the mix (or it could be the shitty headphones im using right now), and i fell like there should be some sort of synth line in the intro. personal pref though.
i think i posted this up a while ago and didn't get much feedback on it so i'd love to hear some more thoughts on it. thanks. (not sure about the intro yet, and the mix needs a little work also)

Thanks a lot man, appreciate what you're saying greatly. In response though, this track is all about the MC and my production is insignificant other than complementing the MC! I try to show off enough in my own tracks Hehe.
Unfortunately your track seems to be down at the moment, but I will keep my eyes peeled for when it is back up!

OK, @Venture -
Your track is loading now mate! Haha. Here's some feedback -
LIke the use of panning in the bass sound, that's pretty heavy!
Bass sounds seem pretty solid!
Drums are quite minimal and straight, the track might have benefitted from a bit of percussion and a little shuffle.
The kick drum could probably be a bit more powerful to help it pull through the mix a little more.
