I don't want to clock it in a weekend like I did with ME2, besides which, the philly cheesesteak thread made me reminisce :)

Might try this tomorrow. The garlic butter sounds like a good addition. I do similar with green/French beans and spinach leaves, fried until just before they get crisp, grate/sprinkle some cheese onto it. Good with romano too instead of parmesan, some cheese curds go nice as well.

Damn! Completely forgot about this, should've tried to find some when I was in Finland a couple months ago.

I sometimes add a little crushed chilli to the butter to give it a bit of a kick. Stick a poached egg on top if you want to make it a bit more substantial or wrap it in Prosciutto di Parma ham if you guys can get that (Northern Italian dry cured ham, rather expensive too!) but I imagine you can!

It´s a bit depressing that I know now more about cheese than I do anything else.

Glad you liked it, Faust :)

In Ireland you can get this cheese called Galtee, it's shit processed cheese but it's fucking lovely. Proper creamy.

Never seen it over in this country but I always bring a few packs back whenever I go to Sligo

Same here, I am not a big cheese guy but I love spicy food so this goes on all my burgers.
