BOXCL001 getting a repress according to Chemical? Good news for peeps who didn't get it but I thought the point of Box Clever was for the limited editionness?

hi - thought i'd better answer this.

to cut a long story short, I've been inundated with requests to repress this - directly, through the shop I work at, and via our distributor. I hate to see people spending over the odds on 2nd hand vinyl, or not being able to own the record they want, and I think the label has a lot of new fans now who might not have had the chance first time round - so I thought it was best to repress a small run of Box Clever 001.


I'm sorry if anyone feels like they've been cheated out of their exclusivity because there will now be 700 copies of this record in the world instead of 500, but I'm sure you'd agree that it's better for the artist to get paid for their music than profiteering discoggers!! Anyway the real exclusive is the super-rare clear red vinyl test pressing - 20 only!!!

That record should get a repress if people want it. It's fucking amazing (as are all 5 so far). High hopes for number 6 too!

This shouldn't come as any surprise but the new TMSV is fucking wonderful. Box Clever has to be one of the most consistently great labels out there.

Looking forward for the next releases big up
